Hiya, I'm Missy Holkeboer
Owner of Missy Alison Photography. I've been photographing in Grand Rapids since 2010.
I spent 17 years as a nurse; 13 of those in the air as a flight nurse with Aero Med. After a decade of seeing how fragile and fleeting life can be, I walked away with a crystal-clear understanding of what really matters.
It's why I love giving back to organizations that strengthen our community.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with my husband Brad, our kids Mia and Wyatt and our wildly opinionated dog Bruce. During the summer, I'm usually elbow-deep in dirt tending to my 200+ dahlias in the backyard. And if I'm not there, you can find me on the lakeshore or downtown with my camera.
